Cosplay Contest Rules and Regulations



You must be 18 years or older to participate in any competition hosted by Fiction & Fantasy Con. 


10 Extra points are awarded to those who make their cosplays. 


Competitors can have no more than %20 store-bought, ready-made costume pieces. All pieces commissioned and made by a third party must be declared on the application before the competition. 


Cosplayers will proceed in numerical order (numbers will be issued before the competition) Once you are in front of the judges, you'll be allocated 2 minutes to present your cosplay to them and the audience. After which the judges will ask you various questions relating to your cosplay and its' inspiration.


Performance cosplay requires 3 or more people.

Performance cosplay can be a skit, dance routine, parody karaoke, or any other family-friendly performance that does not endanger you, other participants, or the spectators. (i.e. knife throwing with real knives would be forbidden).


Any prop weapons will be checked and cleared before going on stage even if it was checked and cleared at check-in.


Skits and/or performances should be kept between 2 and 4 minutes long. Judges will be equipped with a horn to let you know your time is up. IF they have to tell you twice you will be disqualified. 


Rehearsals for the Performance Cosplay Competition will be the night before during early setup times only. 

The more entries, the greater the Cash prize!


Once we hit the 50 Entries mark, there will be a pre-assessment of cosplays to break the competitors into 2 groups.

Dax has also been featured on the cover of Image Comics’ “Commanders in Crisis” portraying the character: Seer, cementing Dax’s place as a trailblazer in both the drag and comic book worlds. With a love for both the theatricality of drag and the creativity of cosplay, Dax ExclamationPoint delivers unforgettable performances that showcase bold fashion, elaborate costumes, and a love for the characters she portrays..

A fierce advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, inclusivity, and body positivity, Dax uses drag and cosplay to encourage self-expression and celebrate individuality. Whether performing at drag shows, conventions, or pride festivals, Dax continues to push boundaries and inspire others to embrace their true selves. Known for her elaborate costumes, flawless makeup, and captivating performances, Dax ExclamationPoint  continues to inspire and entertain with every appearance.


Local: StoneCutter Cosplay


Stonecutter Cosplay is based out of Jacksonville, FL and has been in the cosplay and convention scene since 2010. Over those years he has cosplayed from multiple fandoms such as Marvel, DC, western cartoons, anime, and SciFi and has been to over 30 conventions.



He enjoys working with makeup cosplaying characters like The Joker from DC comics, Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation, Odo from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and a certain version of Nanami from Jujutsu Kaisen.





Enjoying the performance aspect of cosplay he done lightsaber choreography with a local Star Wars Jedi group Last Council Saber Academy from 3863246553, then eventually joined Noise Complaint Tap Dance Theater where he currently dances and acts.
