MAKING A MANDO

Join Members of the MMCC as they demonstrate the process of creating your own Mandalorian Armor.

Hope Broskie

I began sewing costumes when I was 18 for my younger siblings as well as the local Christmas Pageant. Several years later I dove into the world of plastic space armor (Star Wars) to build my first complete set of Mandalorian Armor. I have since made four more complete sets and helped dozens of folks build their own to completion and approval in the Mando Mercs Costume Club. I specialized in making the soft parts, custom female armor and have been delving into the world of leatherwork to add to my skill base.

Keith DeDeo

I am a 52yr old lifelong Star Wars fan.  I began cosplaying 13 years ago with a screen accurate Endor commando and haven’t looked back since. I’ve done multiple cosplay outfits for my wife, daughter and myself.  My current costume is a Mandalorian Bounty Hunter approved through the Mando Mercs Costume Club.  Along with Hope we have helped others build and finish their own Mando kits for approval with the Mercs.  Cutting, shaping, painting and weathering are what I do best.

It takes a Team

  • It starts with a Book...

What is the story? Where did it go?

  • Music draws the world off the pages...

What do you hear when you read a story?

  • Art begins to build the world...

How do you create something based only on words?
